Policies - Boutique Destash

We want this website to be a positive experience for all users. The following policies must be adhered to by boutiques and users as applicable. It is at the sole discretion of site administrators to remove any content that does not adhere to these policies or is otherwise disruptive to the inclusive nature of our community. Failure to adhere to these policies may result in immediate cancellation of active listings and/or removal from the site. These policies apply to both BoutiqueDestash.com and any social media pages/groups operated by BoutiqueDestash.com.

1. Site members who post business or product listings must be licensed to sell retail apparel/jewelry/home decor/gift/craft products in their respective states. This is not a garage sale site; it is for business advertisements only.

2. Boutiques must be based in the United States. All advertisements must be for items available for purchase within the United States. Businesses cannot post product advertisements until they have a published business listing to associate with the products.

3. No product sales are conducted on this site by any business entities not owned by Swoon Brands LLC. Boutiques and boutique-related businesses may post advertisements and direct users to their own websites or may provide contact information for purchases. No money will be exchanged through BoutiqueDestash.com for any sales, other than the posted advertisement listing and promotion packages.

4. All posts must accurately represent products sold by the registered boutique. Product availability must be described accurately. If items are custom made, pre-order, or waitlisted and not ready to ship, advertisements should reflect that information accordingly.

5. All products sold must be in new, unused condition.

6. Reviews and comments must not be defamatory, inciting, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate in nature. It is at the site admin’s discretion to monitor and/or remove any comments it deems necessary. Reviews cannot be edited or removed by businesses.

7. Knockoffs, counterfeit, “inspired” or fake items, or links to the aforementioned, are not allowed on this site. Boutique members associated with listing any product advertisements of this nature will be contacted to change their listings. If the questionable products are not removed within 72 hours of the notification, the listings will be marked “expired” and deleted by admin. Refunds and listing credit will not be given for any ads that must be removed by admin prior to the scheduled end date.

8. Brand name goods not typically associated with the boutique industry are not allowed on this site.

9. Items sourced from manufacturers that enforce minimum allowable pricing must be priced on this site according to those minimum amounts. It is the responsibility of the advertising business to be compliant with manufacturer requirements. If this site is notified that there is an issue with pricing not meeting minimum amounts, the advertising business will be contacted and instructed to correct any pricing details they have posted. The advertising boutique will have 72 hours from the direct message timestamp to correct the listing, or the site admin will mark the listing “expired” and delete it. Refunds and listing credit will not be given for any ads that must be removed by admin prior to the scheduled end date.

10. Boutiques may only use product images they retain the rights to post. The use of copyrighted images or images created by other businesses and used without permission will result in listing removal by the site admin. Repeated use of copyrighted images may result in removal from the site. We encourage the use of photo watermarks with your business name to help prevent issues of this nature.

11. Wholesale pricing has legal implications for the buyer and seller. This site is not responsible for determining the validity of wholesale pricing.

12. Businesses in violation of these policies will be notified using the registered e-mail address on file.

13. Excessive or continued policy violations may result in a user’s account termination, at the discretion of the site administrator.

These policies are subject to revision at any time.
