Refund Policy

Refunds are not issued except in the following circumstances:
– a seller does not ship an order within 10 calendar days
– a seller cannot fulfill an order due to inventory mismanagement or sale in another venue 
– a seller does not ship a complete order (partial refund only)
– a seller grossly misrepresents an item for sale

To request a refund for product misrepresentation or non-shipment, the buyer must contact the site administrator by email at admin@boutiquedestash.com. The message must include the order number, name of the boutique seller, items purchased that were misrepresented or not shipped, and description of the problem. The message must also include photo attachment(s) of the items that were received and misrepresented, if applicable.  

To cancel an order due to inventory mismanagement or overlapping sale in another venue, the vendor must contact the site administrator by email at admin@boutiquedestash.com. The message must include the order number, affected item(s), and reason for cancellation. 

If a refund is deemed necessary, the amount paid for the item(s) in question and shipping fees paid will be refunded by the site admin (Swoon Brands LLC) to the buyer. A refund request will be processed to reverse money from the boutique vendor’s account balance, if the payment has not already been transferred to PayPal (i.e. the order has not been shipped).

If a refund is necessary for an order that shipped, Swoon Brands LLC will initiate a PayPal invoice for the full order amount, including the 13% commission and shipping fees paid, directly to the vendor. The vendor must pay this invoice within 24 hours to cover the amount of the refund made to the buyer. If the invoice payment is not received within 24 hours, the site administrator will take the vendor’s store and products offline until the invoice is paid.

A refund will not be issued for the following reasons:
– product dissatisfaction
– change of mind
– shipping carrier delays in transit
– shipping carrier loss (a claim should be filed with the shipping carrier in this scenario)
– anything outside the control of the site administrator (acts of God, natural disasters, economic loss, etc.)
